Emergency Owner Utility Assistance Program

The City of Maywood Emergency Utility Occupied Assistance Program assists income-eligible households economically impacted by substantial increases in utility cost and/or during the COVID-19 pandemic with utility assistance grants to pay for utility, cell phone, telephone, and internet bills. All utility payments will be made directly to the utility or service provider.

The grant program is funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and follows the requirements of the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA). Therefore, Maywood residents must meet all requirements to be eligible to participate in the program. Assistance is limited to $1,500 for income-eligible households for a period of (3) three months.
