Nimitz Music Supporters is the newly formed booster organization which was established in July 2021 to support the music program at Nimitz Middle School. As a non-profit in good standing they have 501(c)3 status and are registered with the state. They exist to support music at Nimitz both financially and by giving parents the opportunity to volunteer and be a closer part of the music program.
On December 22, 2021, The City Council awarded $3,038.75 to Nimitz Music Supporters to support the following “Marching Band Makeover”:
