Maywood Academy High School Band has been in existence since 2006, and is a school located in the City. The band exists to provide a musical experience for the students of Maywood, to serve as musical ambassadors for the community of Maywood.
On May 26, 2021, the City Council awarded $600.00 to the Maywood Academy High School Band for bus transportation.
On September 8, 2021, the City Council awarded $5,000.00 to the Maywood Academy High School Band to support the transportation to various events and to purchase repairs of their equipment.
