Youth Programs

Early Learning Readiness (ELR) Program (FREE OF CHARGE)

Are you the caregiver (parent, relative, family friend, etc.) of a child aged 5 or younger? Through this caregiver and child class, your child will have a safe, fun place to play, explore, and learn through songs, stories, learning activity centers, and family activities. The Early learning Readiness (ELR) program not only provides you with the tools and support needed to be effective first teachers, but with the guidance and resources to instill a strong relationship within yourself and your child.

Supper Program (FREE OF CHARGE)

Free dinner for everyone under the age of 18 years.  Monday-Thursday 4:30 - 6:30 pm

Youth and Government

For over 73 years, California YMCA Youth & Government has provided high school youth throughout California an experiential learning program by modeling California’s legislature and courts. The program offers teen youth participants from around the state the opportunity to collaborate with others and build skills such as critical thinking, persuasive public speaking, writing and research.

Youth Sports

Youth Sports program at the Y is an exciting blend of team play and individual skills. There are no try-outs, no one gets cut and we promise there are no benchwarmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new  skills and techniques.

Senior Wellness Programs (Free of Charge)

Helping you feel strong, steady and safe. The YMCA offers programming for seniors 60 years of age and older.  Classes offered are low impact workouts designed to improve balance and coordination utilizing various exercises. These classes combine cardio, stretch, strengthening and resistance. Take your fitness and health to the next level.

  • Chair Yoga                 Tuesdays                                   9:00 AM
  • Stretch & Dance         Wednesdays                             9:30 AM

The YMCA has partnered with Human Services Association (HSA) to bring seniors a healthy Meal Program.

  • Brunch                         Monday - Friday                       10:30 - 11:45 AM

A weekly dance is offered at the YMCA every Thursday from 10:30 - 11:30 AM.

New American Welcome Center
