Overnight Parking Enforcement
It is unlawful to park any motor vehicle between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. of any day on any street without obtaining an overnight parking permit.
As a reminder to all Maywood residents, please move your vehicle on street sweeping days. All violators will be cited.
Parking Permits Application
Permits will be available starting September 1, 2022 for the upcoming renewal year 2022/2023.
Permits starting September 1, 2022, may be obtained online at the Pay My Cite website.
Steps to obtain your Annual Residential Parking Permit(s)
- Complete the online application form or download the Mail In Application to submit the document physically to the Post Office.
- Submit proof of residency (driver's license) and current vehicle registration.
- Upload verification documents online
- Mail your application to the City of Maywood

to purchase online.- The cost of the permit is $10 dollars. Parking Permits are non-refundable and non-replaceable.
- Once your residency has been verified and full payment has been made, a parking permit sticker will be sent to you.
- Up to 3 permits can be purchased online. Please note that the 3rd permit will be verified by a City Official for approval. Once approved, you will receive your 3rd permit in the mail.
- After completion of your online application you must be connected to a printer in order to print your Temporary Parking Permit.
Until the above steps are taken, your parking permit application is pending and will not be fulfilled. If you do not follow through with these requirements and your temporary permit expires, you will be in violation and subject to citation if you choose to park on the street.

City Ordinances
Per Ordinance Number 1707, Section 1. Article 1 of Chapter 3 of Title 4 of Maywood Municipal Code is hereby amended in the following:
An annual permit fee of dollars ($10) shall be paid for each all-night parking permit issued. The permit fee shall not be prorated if issued for less than one year. When issued, the permit fee shall entitle the permit to park one vehicle for the balance of the year, to and including August 31. Where the necessity for the permit continues, such permit may be renewed upon the payment of fee of ten dollars ($10) for each additional year, or portion thereof, for which the permit is issued.
Per Ordinance Number 1707 of the City Council of the City of Maywood there is a limit of 3 all-night-parking permits per address for residents and owners of property in the City of Maywood when, determined by city officials, as needed.
